Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts™

The adventure begins before you even enter Gringotts™ bank, as you pass beneath the massive fire-breathing dragon at the far end of Diagon Alley™!
Inside, walk past the hard working Goblins in the bank’s detailed marble lobby and keep a look-out for the 4 chandeliers that are made up of nearly 62,000 crystals!
The inside of the bank is exciting enough, but just wait until you get to the vaults.... You’ll be taken on a perilous journey through cavernous passageways that lead deep underground, trying to evade malicious villains along the way.
The Hogwarts™ Express*
It’s every Harry Potter™ fan’s dream come true – you can actually take a real train journey on the Hogwarts™ Express!
The Hogwarts™ Express connects the two lands of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™, so when you take the journey you'll be travelling from Kings Cross Station in Universal Studios Florida to Hogsmeade™ Station in Universal's Islands of Adventure or vise versa. Even the departing train stations are true to the Harry Potter™ books and films!
If you’re taking the journey from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Diagon Alley™, you’ll board the Hogwarts™ Express at King's Cross Station. Just like in the books and films, you’ll walk straight through a brick wall onto Platform 9 ¾™ and be shown into your passenger compartment.
The view from the train windows and the overall experience are different depending on which way you’re travelling, so be sure to take the train in both directions! Along the way you’ll have views of the English countryside and London, as well as some unexpected surprises along the journey!

What food can I bring into the Park?
Bringing your own food is generally discouraged, as there are some great places to eat here! However there are some items that you are allowed to bring with you. Please see below for a full list of prohibited and acceptable items:

Wheelchair Access
- All dining and shopping facilities at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ are wheelchair accessible.
- All queues are accessible to guests using manual wheelchairs. There are specific boarding requirements and accommodations for those using wheelchairs at each attraction. The attractions at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ have dramatic movements so guests using manual wheelchairs must be able to transfer to the ride vehicle seating with assistance from another member of their party.
- For guests using Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECV’s) or motorized wheelchairs, none of the ride vehicles or attraction queues at Universal Orlando can accommodate these, with the exception of the Hogwarts™ Express. At those rides which can accommodate manual wheelchairs, guests may transfer from their ECV or motorized wheelchair into a manual transfer wheelchair that is provided at each location.
Vision Disabilities
Scripts outlining the dialogue in many of the attraction experiences are available in large font and embossed in Braille at the Guest Services lobby at the Universal Orlando theme parks.
Prosthetic Limbs
Guests should properly secure or remove all prosthetic limbs before riding the following attractions to prevent hazards or loss due to ride forces:
- Flight of the Hippogriff™
- Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™
Any guest with prosthetic arms or hands will be required to ensure the limb is properly attached and able to grasp the ride restraint. Certain hand, arm, leg, and joint elements may be required to ride safely.
